- Assists with Personal Protection Orders
- Accompanies survivor to court proceedings
- Safety plans for court proceedings
- Provides information on court dates and times
- Assists with Victim Impact Statements and Crime Victim Compensation Applications
- Acts as a liaison between the survivor, police, prosecutors, and probation agents
- Links survivors to resources
- Helps explain and navigate the legal system including arraignments, preliminary examinations, trials, and sentencing
