Mid Michigan Human Trafficking Task Force

About the Task Force

In 2012, Underground Railroad developed the Mid-Michigan Human Trafficking Task Force in collaboration with the Michigan Human Trafficking Task Force. The task force is made up of social service agencies, law enforcement, religious-based groups, and community activists dedicated to preventing human trafficking in Mid-Michigan and the surrounding communities. Providing training and education, the goals of  the Task Force are to enhance community awareness and understanding of the dynamics of human trafficking, and to develop responses to rescue and restore survivors of trafficking.

 

The Mid- Michigan Human Trafficking Task Force serves the following counties:
Arenac, Bay, Gladwin, Gratiot, Huron, Isabella, Saginaw, Sanilac, Shiawassee, and Tuscola

 

Task Force meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month at 9am in Saginaw.
